Ylva Blid-Mackenzie, who will be giving tonight’s talk from is from Madrona Nursery in Bethersden, Kent, which offer customers a wide range of unusual trees, shrubs, perennials, ferns and grasses. The Nursery specialises in rare cultivars and species, some unique to the nursery.

A Swedish Landscape Architect,  Ylva started her career working in Sweden, Finland & Germany and joined the Nursery in 1996 in a quest to learn more about plants and growing. She has worked on a variety of projects, spanning designs of private gardens and urban planning.  Ylva offers a Landscape Design service, drawing on her wealth of plant knowledge aquired at Madrona.
