MHS members’ event

Cost: this is a subsidised event for members cost £10, including coach travel. If seats are available, non-members will be charged £20.
Travel: the coach will be leaving the library car park at 10.00am for arrival in Winchelsea at approximately 11.00am. We will be leaving at 4.00pm and should arrive back in Marden by  5.00pm.
Refreshments: will be available in the village hall plus there is a village pub and a village shop.
Sign up: names will be taken at the April, and May meetings but your place won't be confirmed until payment is received. We will let you know when the trip is open to guests/non-members .

Ten gardens in many styles will be open - large and small, secret walled gardens, roses, herbaceous borders and more, all in the beautiful setting of the historic Cinque Port of Winchelsea. You will have plenty of time to visit all ten gardens and look at the pretty village of Winchelsea, Taking a packed lunch may be advisable and there will be seats around the village and in the churchyard, where Spike Milligan is buried, to sit and eat.
